After breakfast, we leave Fes and drive through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco." Next, we visit Azrou’s cedar forest, home to wild Barbary macaques. Continuing through Midelt, we stop for lunch before driving along the Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and fortified villages. We arrive in Merzouga in the late afternoon, where you will check into your desert hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Merzouga.
Today, we explore the magical desert landscapes of Erg Chebbi. We visit the village of Khamlia, where you can enjoy traditional Gnawa music, and meet local nomadic families to learn about their way of life. In the afternoon, we prepare for a camel trek into the golden dunes, riding toward our desert camp. Enjoy the stunning sunset over the dunes before a traditional Berber dinner and a night under the stars in a nomadic-style tent.
Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we ride camels back to Merzouga and continue our journey towards Rissani, where we explore its traditional market. Next, we visit the dramatic Todra Gorges, famous for its towering rock cliffs, before heading to the scenic Dades Valley, where we stop to admire the rock formations known as the "Monkey Fingers." Dinner and overnight stay in Dades Valley.
After breakfast, we drive along the "Route of a Thousand Kasbahs," passing through the Rose Valley, famous for its annual Rose Festival. We continue to Skoura, where we visit the historic Amridil Kasbah. Next, we stop in Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Morocco," and visit the famous Atlas Film Studios. Finally, we arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed ksar and one of the best-preserved fortified villages in Morocco. Dinner and overnight stay in a traditional guesthouse near Ait Ben Haddou.
After breakfast, we explore the stunning Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a famous filming location for movies such as "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones." We then drive through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m), enjoying spectacular views of Berber villages and valleys. We arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon, where you will have time to explore Jemaa el-Fnaa square, the bustling heart of the city. Dinner and overnight stay in Marrakech.
On your last day, enjoy a guided city tour of Marrakech. Visit the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, the beautiful Bahia Palace, and the vibrant souks. You will also explore the peaceful Majorelle Garden, once owned by Yves Saint Laurent. Depending on your flight schedule, we will transfer you to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Moroccan adventure.
